Photos : The Absolut Party, A Pre-party For MTV Africa Music Awards In Accra

The Firefly Lounge over the weekend was the place to be. Why? because the MAMAs Pre Party sponsored by Absolut took place.

Accra may not be part of the cities for this year’s Road to MAMA’s festivities ahead of the MTV Africa Music Awards but Absolut Vodka, sponsors of the awards held a party in Accra to keep up with the excitement around the continent.

The Firefly lounge in Osu was transformed into a colourful galaxy boasting of lights, colours and mind blowing music, last Friday night. There was a massive turnout on the stroke of 12, with lots of Accra’s vibrant party goers turning up and getting turned out! There was endless music from two DJ’s on the turntables, and plenty out of the world Absolut cocktails to go around the tables!

Guests won several giveaways including special Absolut Vodka branded Skull Candy headsets. The Absolut Party ahead of the MAMA awards turned out to be an experience better than promised.

Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Fuse ODG
have been are nominees for the 2015 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA). Sarkodie was nominated in the Best Male Category as well as Best Collaboration for Njama Njama Cow Remix with Stanley Enow.

Stonebwoy was nominated for Best New Act while UK based Ghanaian Fuse ODG also secured a nomination in Best Pop & Alternative category. To vote, visit http://mama.mtv.com/voting/
